We still are a ways away from Rebels basketball but I am extremely excited to see how they will live up to the hype they created last year. For a minute the joy had been lost in Rebel land and hopefully it’s back, and back to stay awhile. There are still a few more months until the season but hopefully I can track some of the players down soon and get their perspective on the upcoming season and what to expect from the team. Stay tuned and be patient as I am getting ready give you an inside scoop on our running rebels.
*Special Note: There was an article in the Las Vegas Review Journal. The freshman Beas Hamga is being investigated by the NCAA for questionable grades in high school. He isn’t attending classes full time at UNLV and if he isn’t reinstated he may not be playing for the rebels this year. More to come on this story.
